Pink Himalayan Salt is a mined rock salt included here as part of our dual-source sodium system. We use it alongside Sodium Citrate to provide the bottle-listed sodium complex exactly as labeled. A 2025 comparative salt analysis (Journal of Food Composition and Analysis) reported that the Himalayan salt samples tested showed a favorable mineral/contaminant profile versus several common salt types, including higher trace mineral content than refined salt and lower microplastic contamination than the sea salt samples evaluated. This supports our ingredient-quality approach. It does not replace the performance-focused role of Sodium Citrate, and it is not presented as a disease-treatment claim.
